This weekend our U14 Boys team continued their success by winning Presidents Cup.  Saturday saw them battle Tallahassee United and come out victorious with a 2 – 1 win.  The game went into extra time but the boys pulled through with goals form Jacob Zona assisted by a great through ball from Noah Wentzel.  Nick Srozinski scored the all-important winner from a corner taken by Marcus Wilcox to secure the win. Sunday’s final was played against Cutler Ridge SC Fury and once again the boys came out on top with a 2 – 0 victory to win the trophy. Pavlo Palatsidis opened the scoring in the 20th minute with a well taken free kick from outside the box and Nick Deal put the game away in the final minutes to bring the cup home to Westside. To date the boys have not lost a game and now go to Decatur AL in June for Regionals.
