Last year Adam was one of our Coerver Coaching Technical Directors and is highly regarded by the WSC coaching staff who were fortunate enough to have him work with their teams. Adam is young, dynamic and during his time with us last year showed an affinity for the younger kids and our club as a whole. Adam has spent this last season working with Coerver in the UK honing his skills and acquiring some new methods that will make our Coerver Academy Program fresh and cutting edge.
Having previously worked as Technical Director at Westside Soccer Club, Adam has spent 2012 in his native England working with Coerver UK. During his time in the UK he has worked directly with the UK Director, Scott Wright, learning and implementing the latest coaching philosophies from around the globe, and working with grass roots players as well as Premier League Academy players.
As a youth player he was a member of the Leeds United Youth Academy and represented the English National team on several occasions, going on to sign professionally with Doncaster Rovers FC who would gain successive promotions during his time there.
Adam came to the U.S. in 2004 to play at the University of Montevallo, Alabama. At Montevallo he was a four-year captain, leading the team to a conference championship, a regional championship, and three NCAA tournament appearances (including one final four appearance). He was twice voted All-American during his time at Montevallo.
On completing his studies, he was named Assistant Coach at the University of Montevallo, combining these duties with his role as Girls’ Director of Coaching at nearby Hoover Soccer Club, while also being a Coerver staff member in Alabama.
