Westside Soccer Club
(WSC) was founded in 1997
by soccer enthusiasts
living on the Westside of Jacksonville. Originally our games
were
played at different area schools all over the Westside. In August,
2002 Westside Soccer Club, in partnership with the City of Jacksonville,
opened their new soccer complex at Ringhaver park on 118th Street.
The new complex consists of 12 different soccer fields ranging from
the under age 5 fields, all the way up to the under age 19 tournament
field. Several more fields are in the planning stage. The club is
experiencing tremendous growth at present with over 1,000 children
registered for this year's Spring season.

Westside Soccer Club is a non-profit (501c3) organization
that relies on its volunteer base to operate both a Fall and Spring
soccer season. We also sponsor several special tournaments during
the year.
A Board of Directors oversees and administers most aspects of
the club’s operation. In 2002, the board hired a part-time
club administrator to facilitate communications, registration, and
day-to-day operations. Our books are open to everyone to assure
all funds are being used in good faith for the children.
WSC’s guiding values are Fun, Sportsmanship,
and Teamwork. The club’s intent is to foster the child’s
enjoyment of the game of soccer and to promote it throughout the
community. We also offer scholarships to any child who may need
financial assistance.
