Chris Castell
The Westside Soccer Board is pleased to announce and extends a warm welcome to our new Director of Player Development, Mr. Chris Castell. Chris comes to us armed with a wealth of international experience and the exclusive North Florida ’Coerver Coaching Program’. As many of you may know we have worked very long and hard to make this partnership happen. We are so excited Coerver USA has rewarded us with such a quality Director to guide us through a monumental step for the club and our youth’s soccer development. Here are a few initial comments from Chris upon his arrival:
“Soccer has been my life since the age of four. Watching and participating in the beautiful game has encouraged and inspired myself to accomplish many of my lifetime goals at such a young age.I played with and against my childhood soccer heroes, defended my country in the British Royal Navy and now I have another equally great opportunity with Westside Soccer Club, in association with Coerver Coaching. As a Coerver Coach,I am backed by the Worlds #1 Skills Teaching Program in developing the stars of tomorrow. This method of teaching and player development has become my passion. The methodology of putting the children’s development first and not the financial gain, as most large soccer organizations here in the states seem to do, has fuelled my desire to work with your children. There is a similar passion between the Board Members and myself to give as much to the children, parents, coaches and families as humanly possible and so I am delighted to be able to work in such a positive environment. Iam looking forward to meeting all of you and your aspiring young soccer players in the near future, here at the Westside Soccer Club.”
